First of all, Tryg Littlefield (2001 Maniacs) has had to cancel his appearance. It turns out that he will be in the studio with his band, 'Fall from Grace', recording at the time of FEAR FEST 2. Nick Mennell has also cancelled (working on a movie).
Now onto the good news. Additions include Lin Shaye of A Nightmare on Elm Street & 2001 Maniacs, Julie Carmen (Fright Night 2), Axelle Marshall (Doomsday FX), Natalia Baron (Red Velvet) and Kelli Garner (Red Velvet, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) among others!
Also included in this update is the full schedule for FEAR FEST 2, located on the EVENTS page of the site. Ofcourse, this schedule could change at anytime, for whatever reason, however this should be fairly accurate at this point. If not we'll let you know!
Worth mentioning, obviously, is that the world premiere of the APRIL FOOLS remake is screening at FEAR FEST 2, see events page for details.
And as most of you already know, the forums are now fully operational again. Sorry for the downtime.

them for supporting FEAR FEST 2 and wish this exciting studio all the best!
On a far different note, it is with great displeasure that we announce Renny Harlin will not be appearing at FEAR FEST 2. Renny
just got the call to shoot a new movie. He has mentioned putting together a little video message for the fans which we can play at FEAR FEST 2 and he is keen to appear at FEAR FEST 3 in 2009. We'd like to apologize for this
cancellation in particular, as we were also very much looking forward to having Renny as a guest.
On an equally depressing note, GUTSANDGORY.com is currently offline. We are working to resolve a technical issue, but it may
be a few days before we get it back into gear. Suffice to say we are very frustrated to have the forums down at a time like this, however, all the data is intact and it will be reinstated soon, one way or the other...
To get back to some positive news, we are adding a slew of new guests including Tommy Lee Wallace, director of Fright Night 2,
Halloween 3 and IT; J. Larose of Saw 3, Toy Newkirk of ANOES 4, Erika Anderson of ANOES 5 and Twin Peaks, Andy Mangels the A Nightmare on Elm St. Comic Book Artist; Kevin Kangas: Fear of Clowns 1 & 2,
Natasha Talonz of Black Devil Doll and Gris Grimly of Santa Claws and Cannibal Flesh Riot (will also be screening Cannibal Flesh Riot w/ panel discussion).
Furthermore, we will be having a Closet Space cast reunion & screening with Mel House (director), Jason Stewart (Writer)
and Melanie Donihoo, Peyton Wetzel, Morgan McCarthy and Danielle Jones.

Unfortunately we have another couple of guest cancellations. Nick Corri has a new work committment in March
and Beverly Randolph also has a movie to shoot in March.

As you can see, a large number of guests have been added! Including Diamond Dallas Page, the wrestling superstar (former WCW heavyweight champion), turned actor. We also have director Tim Sullivan and several cast members of 2001 and 2002 Maniacs now in attendance. We will be screening an ultra rare 35mm print of 2001 Maniacs with director Tim, and special guests, introducing the flick.
Furthermore, we now have the largest ever 'Fright Night' reunion with the entire living cast members and director, Tom Holland, in attendance (having added Jonathan Stark and Amanda Bearse to the guestlist)! This aspect, along with the massive and largest ever 'A Nightmare on Em Street' reunion
makes FEAR FEST 2 a very special event for true horror fans... make sure you are there in March!
Unfortunately Shon Greenblatt, Gary Klar and Leonard Lies have cancelled their appearances. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Silent auction for the West Memphis 3:
December 28, 2007: Dallas, TX — March 7th, 8th, and
9th Texas Fear Fest will be helping to raise money and
awareness for the West Memphis Three (www.wm3.org) --
three men who have been falsely imprisoned for murder
since 1993. Recently completed DNA testing (not
available back in 1993) does not match any of the
three men, and their many supporters hope to see them
freed in the near future. Tammy Adin (coordinator for
the West Memphis Three World Awareness Day) and Anje
Vela (president of Music4Life) will be teaming up with
John Gray of Texas Fear Fest to bring donated items
from Skeleton Key Auctions
(www.skeletonkeyauctions.com) and other sources for a
huge silent auction of memorabilia, artwork and many
other items, to raise money for the West Memphis
Three's legal defense fund.

About The West Memphis Three:
Shortly after three eight-year-old boys were found
mutilated and murdered in West Memphis, Arkansas,
local newspapers stated the killers had been caught.
The police assured the public that the three teenagers
in custody were definitely responsible for these
horrible crimes. Evidence?
The same police officers coerced an error-filled
"confession" from Jessie Misskelley Jr., who is
mentally handicapped. They subjected him to 12 hours
of questioning without counsel or parental consent,
audiotaping only two fragments totaling 46 minutes.
Jessie recanted it that evening, but it was too
late” Misskelley, Jason Baldwin and Damien Echols
were all arrested on June 3, 1993, and convicted of
murder in early 1994.
Although there was no physical evidence, murder
weapon, motive, or connection to the victims, the
prosecution pathetically resorted to presenting black
hair and clothing, heavy metal t-shirts, and Stephen
King novels as proof that the boys were sacrificed in
a satanic cult ritual. Unfathomably, Echols was
sentenced to death, Baldwin received life without
parole, and Misskelley got life plus 40.
For over 14 years, The West Memphis Three have been
imprisoned for crimes they didn’t commit. Echols
waits in solitary confinement for the lethal injection
our tax dollars will pay for. They were all condemned
by their poverty, incompetent defense, satanic panic
and a rush to judgment.
But there’s still hope for them, and you can help.

Huge updates for the month of December! Our concert headliner has just been announced
and it is none other than Michale Graves formerly of the Misfits! Supporting him are Ari Lehman's First Jason,
RazorBlade Dolls and The Horrifics. It promises to be a great night of punk, horror and rock and
any self respecting fan would be a fool to miss it! Details are on the graphic above or on the events page.
Furthermore, Kane Hodder has just been scheduled to appear at Fear Fest 2. Kane famously played Jason in Friday the 13th: VII, VIII. Jason Goes to Hell
and JASON X. Stunt Coordinator for Black Friday, Kane's career in the business is a great one and thus we are glad to welcome him back to Fear Fest 2. Legend!
Also added, Brooke Theiss from A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 to further bolster our Elm Street reunion!

What a Halloween update we have in store for you! Not only have we added a ton of new guests, including Renny Harlin, Chris Sarandon, Kim Myers
and Giovanni Lombardo Radice (aka John Morghen - Sponsored by Paura Productions), but we have organised a Saturday night concert with guests! Sponsored by Black Friday, with director Ethan Terra, the Headliners have yet to be confirmed, however, also on the
bill are Ari Lehman's 'FIRST JASON' and 'Razorblade Dolls'! Admission to the concert for VIPs is free. It will be $6 for Silver Package Dream Warrior patrons
and $13 for all general/weekend admission. Admission will be paid on the door, on the night. More bands are to be confirmed!
Alamo Draft House and The Rolling Roadshow present Friday Night Frights - March 7th from Dusk till Dawn!
The Rolling Roadshow is a completely mobile Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. It is a 35mm projection room on wheels!
The Rolling Roadshow comes equipped with a cinema grade 35mm projector, a 20ft x 40ft inflatable movie screen and high-end outdoor audio.
It is absolutely the top of the line in outdoor cinema screening. All films will be screened in 35mm... no DVD projections here!
The screenings will now be held on site at Anderson Bonner Park 12901 Park Central Drive - Dallas, TX - directly behind the Park Westin Hotel.

Unfortunately Dick Warlock and William Ragsdale have had to cancel their appearance at Fear Fest 2. William has rescheduled for
Fear Fest 2009 since he and his wife have a child due around the time of the event. Whereas Dick has retired completely from appearances (unless they are for charity). We wish them both a great 2008 nonetheless
